A tight budget is a growth tool

NetBoom reached 30M users in two years on under $2M of marketing. Having little money forced us to do only what worked.

With plenty of money, a team tries ten channels at once and can never say which one worked. With little, you bet on one at a time and learn the answer fast.

The constraint is a measuring instrument: it forces every dollar onto a testable hypothesis.

The takeaway: set a hard ceiling on acquisition cost first, then look for channels that work under it — not the other way round.
